... ma = Bestower of supreme spiritual knowledge (gyan)

shi = Benevolent, serene and responsible for
initiation by Lord Shiva
va = Symbolic of a bull as the vehicle
and Vasuki and Vamangi energy (shakti)
ya = Auspicious abode of Supreme Bliss and Lord Shiva.
